Keno Kozie Announces October Charitable Contributions

Keno Kozie will be making donations to two worthwhile causes as it continues to celebrates 25 years in business with 25 charitable acts:

This month, Keno Kozie will be making donations to the following organizations:

  • Mount Saint Joseph – A non-profit health care facility that cares for adult women with varying degrees of cognitive and physical disabilities.
  • Bright Pink– A national non-profit organization focusing on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women, while providing support for high-risk individuals.

“Individually Bright Pink and Mount Saint Joseph are dedicated to making a difference in women’s lives” stated Sue Keno, vice president of Keno Kozie. “With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are hopeful in making a donation to a disease that so many are affected by. We are glad we can continue to contribute to causes that are important to our employees.”

So far this year, donations have been made to the following organizations:

  • Illinois Mission of Mercy
  • St. Jude’s Research Hospital
  • Common Roots Initiative
  • Envision Unlimited
  • Smile Train
  • Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago
  • Paws Chicago
  • Crisis Nursery
  • Friends of the Park
  • Children’s Oncology Services
  • Chicago Scholars
  • Children’s Miracle Network
  • Doctors Without Borders
  • Open Books
  • The Walter and Connie Payton Foundation
  • Neema International
  • Culinary Care
  • The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Additional organizations will receive donations and charitable acts throughout the remainder of 2014.
